About Mandy Webster

Mandy Webster began her career at Brunico Communications, the publishers of Playback, Strategy and a variety of other film and television related publications. During her time there, Mandy worked her way up from Production Assistant to Creative Director of Advertising. She was responsible for much of the ad design as well as some editorial design. It was also at Brunico Communications that Mandy had several articles published and did her first ad copywriting.

From Brunico, Mandy went to work as a copywriter at ACLC Advertising, where she wrote national television, radio, outdoor and print campaigns for such clients as Swiss Chalet, Harvey’s, Albert-Culver, Hershey, Acura, Honda, the Toronto Sun and the Stratford Festival. One of Mandy’s print campaigns for the Stratford Festival was the first runner-up in a TV Guide national advertising contest.

In 1997, Mandy quit her job at ACLC to stay at home with her new baby. A few years and another baby later, Mandy started her own advertising business, combining her background in graphic design and copywriting to offer her clients a one-stop shop. Her clients include the Canadian Cancer Society, BMO Financial Group, the Ontario Early Years Centre and the Milton Community Resource Centre to name a few.

In addition to her computer-based graphic design work, Mandy works in traditional media as well. Her pencil portraits have been a successful side business and fleece baby blankets designed by Mandy for Admiral Road Designs have been featured in InStyle, Redbook and Toronto Life magazines.
